Ginger-Turmeric- honey tea

Turmeric has fantastic anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. It’s earthy flavor pairs beautifully with the sharpness of ginger and the sweetness of honey.

Ingredients

  • 1-inch knob of ginger, peeled and sliced thin

  • 1-inch piece of fresh turmeric, peeled and sliced thin

  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

  • 5 cups of water

  • 1/4 cup honey

Directions

  1. Add water, ginger, turmeric, and apple cider vinegar into a medium pot. Bring to a boil, then turn heat off, cover, and let steep for 10 minutes.

  2. Add the honey when ready to serve.

  3. Leftovers keep in the fridge for up to one week.

*Add some heated coconut milk for a creamier drink.
